So I bought your prebuilt PC like two years ago and it worked perfectly fine and I was using it one day and the mouse suddenly stopped working and the cursor just would not move so I tried finding different ways to fix that none of the way that I worked so I decided to use a very old mouse that I had lying around that is very broken, and hope to find a YouTube video that can fix it. The mouse is pretty nice. Nothing is working now. Light wont even turn on or even be detected so if you guys could, could you guys please send me a spare?

Warnign others about Cyber Power PC

CyberPowerPC - Warnign others about Cyber Power PC

AVOID CYBERPOWER PC

I ordered a gaming computer for my son for Christmas; it was over $4.5k, a huge thing for him. It arrived a few days before Christmas with a broken motherboard (likely due to their shipping procedures of mailing the card installed and then forcing packaging material in there).

I sent the machine back for them to replace the board and when it returned (its 3rd transit by company policy mandated ground ups) it arrived back with a broken video card. The card powered the display when the board was broken, but did not do so when it was returned to me (again probably because of their shipping methodology and the card's weight). They asked me to send the card back, when they received it back, I was told the card was out of stock and that it would take another month for me to get one unless I agreed to a different card. I agreed to the different card.

They notified me two days later that they checked the broken card I sent back and said they "will no longer replace the broken card because the card was broken", which is beyond frustrating. I asked if I could return the computer and get a refund, they replied that I was now beyond the 45 day window, it was then 60 days since purchase because of the repair time on their side and the slow UPS shipping they use. I reached out to their disputes department and they agreed that day to send me the replacement option for the broken card, I accepted it again; but no card was shipped. I called them almost daily asking for a tracking number, to be told it was being tested, then it failed testing but that it was a similar card that they waited for that failed and not the replacement card they had proposed and not to worry they had many of the replacement options and again said they would send it.

Another week went by still no tracking number. At that point it was over 3 months since I ordered a computer and several weeks since they agreed to send me a replacement card. So I was forced to chargeback the computer on my credit card. Issuing the chargeback evoked a response from them but how can I trust anything they offer, I am leaving it to my credit card company to handle.

I hope you all have better luck with some place else. Side annoyance, their lead RMA guy was about as rude as he was ineffectual.

CyberPowerPC - Hardware problem, month old pc
Original review Jul 04, 2023
I am wondering what my options are. I have done everything except do a factory reset. The computer was fine when I went to bed. Now it won't play any games at all without crashing them. I bought it beginning of June this year at bestbuy. Bestbuy is no help at all. They won't let me exhchange it. I spent 1,595 on a gaming pc not a brick. The only reason I got this pc was for gaming. I am hoping you can help me out.

Defective product, unfair return policies and warranty.

CyberPowerPC - Defective product, unfair return policies and warranty.
1. The $3K computer is supposed to perform really well, but browsers, games, antivirus software and .Net framework all crash. 2. Their return policy is 30 days from the day of purchase and I didn't get my PC delivered until 24 days later. So you really don't have enough time to send it back for a replacement or refund. 3. Their warranty is only one year. California is requiring electronic companies to have at least 2-year warranty. I wonder how they are getting away with this?

I placed my custom order 11/29/21. Received it around Dec 12th.

set it up played my game for 45 min . I noticed the FPS was 30 FPS- this is really low for a new computer. Their website claims for WOW and this model it should be 90 +fps. I put the PC in Sleep mode.

Next day the graphics card would not work at all, tried all the other pcs- those all worked fine etc. On Dec 13, 2021 I called - they issued an RMA - PC got shipped back. It was fixed 'supposedly' and received by me on Jan 10th 2022. The RMA invoice shows they only replaced 1 part - the GPU.

I noticed the cover for the Power supply was funny and saw it was bent as if someone had forced it on and was in a hurry. Then I noticed it was NOT the same PS that originally came with my PC (which was a Corsair 750 X white series 80 Gold....) Instead it now had a Black Corsair 750RM. I called 1.14.22 and questioned why was this replaced if it was not broken? The guy NAM didn't care.

His only concern was that it was the same grade/quality as the one before. He did not care about my concern and lack of faith-WHY would they replace a part that was not broken? What else is going on? Did they swap out the original NEW PS and put in a used or refurbished one?

Again, all valid questions, and they did not want to answer or acknowledge this fact. I'm extremely upset. I spent $2700 + and the PC only delivers 30 FPS. I've only used this machine for literally 45 min + 2 hrs.

I would like a full refund. However, their return policy is a piece of work - has to be "30 days" from when it was received (and if within 45 days charge 15% restock fee).. Certainly makes you wonder about this company. They have ZERO INTEGRITY and imo cannot be trusted.

MY guess is they cannibalize the PC's that come into RMA and swap parts, hoping the customer does not notice. These leaders of the company should be in JAIL imo. these are really unethical practices.

You can see from the pictures how badly it was forced together. The screws were sideways and not properly set at a right angle.

The plate for the PS should be flush, instead it's flared and bent on both ends.

I suspect it is not the correct plate for the PSU that got swapped (aka stolen) when it was sent in for the RMA

The previous PC from 2019 also came from Cyber -the GPU lasted 2 yrs - a little short on the life expectancy - but I figured giving them another go.

In short, Do NOT Waste your time or Money with CyberComputer (only tried them at the recommendation of one of my employees- a server Admin). Instead, I will go back to purchasing my computers from iBuyPower- they seem to last longer and be much better quality all around - both my siblings and their family have them - and have experienced 0 issues in the last 6 years.

Order "invalid"

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

So I ordered a PC I checked status of PC 5 days after order, they said they couldn't rush the order and asked if I wanted to proceed I emailed in for them to proceed with the rush. 3 weeks later I see all no update to my order so I e mail all for a status update, they send me a screenshot of my order status page with no updates.

Then I check my order status was marked invalid, so when I spoke to love support they would only allow me to speak with the guy that made my order invalid who told me I didn't reply to his email, that was a response to my email asking for an update. So he marked it invalid. And nothing can be done now that he marked it invalid,I would have to place new order...

I said okay transfer me, so I can place a new order he refused saying any and all orders must go specifically through him put right refused to allow me to speak with another agent even after I attempted numerous times to reconnect the other agent would transfer me without speaking to me. Extremely poor service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered my computer back in early Jan it wasn't working when I got it. They sent me a replacement part which didn't work either.

So I sent the entire computer back. Three weeks later I got the computer back and it still didn't work actually it was worse then before I sent it back. I've never used the computer and they want me to pay to return it. The person i spoke with was very smug and just said that's their policy.

When I asked for his supervisor he said they don't talk to people. With the service and product they send I can see why. I also asked for the complaint department or a way to complain and he said they don't have one. When someone spends money with a company they should be treated better.

I could see paying for return shipping if I had actually been able to use the product and then changed my mind but I never got to use it. Basically this is a bad company with bad products and even worse customer service.

Terrible customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I ordered a PC from them on 11-26-2021. The order was cancelled, by them on 12/08/2021.

After getting a text from them congratulating me on my purchase and an email stating that my order was approved, I apparently failed to contact them via phone. Apparently, they were sending e-mails that were going to my junk mail. They reported that they tried to call me on one occasion. Likely also diverted as a SPAM call.

They never even let me know that my order was cancelled, I had to contact them when my shipping date was pulled and my order status went to "Invalid".

The guy from customer service was no help at all, basically telling tough crap. This would have been my third computer from them, even after the last one I ordered had damage to it and I sucked it up because I would have had to pay shipping to send it back to be fixed.

I agree with the Post. The company has horrible customer service and terms that really should be deemed illegal.

I received my custom pc in Dec- used it for one day- then it did not work- got an RMA- shipped it back. it came back on jan 10th... found the PS was tampered with and replaced- even though this part was not replaced on the RMA.

Now its past the 30 days for me to get a refund, if i return it -theres 15% restock fee. this is just WRONG> I've only used the machine for 2 days since received.

Defective pc and buyer pays return shipping

CyberPowerPC - Defective pc and buyer pays return shipping - Image 2

I purchased a desktop from cyberpowerpc on January 21, 2021 and finally received my order on February 17, 2021. When I plugged the computer in the monitor showed nothing but green lines and then black.

I rebooted the pc and the same happened. I put in an old video card and it worked fine. I reinstalled the new card that came with the pc and green to black again. I immediately called cyberpowerpc during their normal business hours and was on hold for 30 minutes and no one ever answered.

I then went to their web site and put in a support ticket, as the message on the phone says it's just as fast. No reply. The next day I called cyberpower as soon as they opened at 8:30 AM PST and held for 45 minutes before someone answered. I explained the problem and he said I could send the video card back for a new one.

I asked how long that would take and he said 5-7 business days from when they received the defective card not counting the time it took to ship it. I had already waited a month for the pc and really did not want to wait 3 weeks for something that may or may not fix the issue. I told the tech as much and said a refund would be better. He then said that was another department and they would have to call me back.

After realizing how long it took to get someone on the phone the first time a sense of dread set in. However, someone from the refund department did call me back and said I could get a refund but I would have to pay return shipping. That infuriated me as this was a damaged item and I have never had to pay return shipping on a damaged item. As a matter of fact, Amazon, Walmart, B and H Photo, all carry Cyberpower PCs and none of those merchants charge for return shipping on the exact same brand if defective.

I checked. After arguing with Marco at cyberpower for 15 minutes, with him claiming it must have gotten damaged in shipping, even though the box it came in was pristine, I still have not received an RMA from this company to return this piece of junk and get my $1900 back. Instead of a RMA#, Marco sent me a copy of cyberpower's warranty/return policy. Please think twice before giving these scam artists your money.

There is no quality control at this company and their return policy is like no other company I have ever done business with. Notice the box in the picture has absolutely no damage.
